Today, in Zabrze, a ceremony of handing over symbolic checks took place for 5 cities from the Silesian voivodeship that will receive funding from #NorwegianFunds from the #LocalDevelopment Program
We received EUR 3.5 million of support, i.e. compared to today's EUR exchange rate, the amount of nearly PLN 16 million. The project "Smart Żywiec - (r)evolution", previously known under the working title #ProjektGrojec, gained recognition in the opinion of experts, thanks to which we are among 29 Polish cities that will receive funding from the Norwegian Funds.
This is a great day for our city! We applied for funding of EUR 10 million. However, we are very satisfied with the amount received. There are key decisions ahead of us which of the proposed investments to choose for implementation within the available resources. Certainly, however, this money will be used well for the benefit of the City, its residents and visiting tourists!
