Climate change is one of the greatest environmental, social and economic threats. According to that, Żywiec City started to work on developing a Municipal Climate Change Adaptation Plan. This document finds its basis in the assumptions of many policies, including the European Union Climate Change Adaptation Strategy and the National Strategic Adaptation Plan for Climate Vulnerable Sectors and Areas up to 2020 with an outlook to 2030.
Municipal Climate Change Adaptation Plan for Żywiec City is a strategic document. Its main elements are: the diagnosis of climate risks in the city, the description of a vision and objectives to counteract the identified climate problems, material and financial schedule of plans and actions taken, as well as the way of implementation, evaluation and results.
We would like to invite residents of Żywiec City, local business and all those who are interested in the subject of the MCAP document to join us in the process of its development through public consultations. Consultation will run till 18.06.2023.

In addition, we invite you to participation in consultation meetings for residents, which will take place:
- 5-th of June 2023 from 12:00 to14:00
- 5- th of June 2023 from 16:00 to 18:00
- 6 -th of June 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
