On 14th of December 2023 Banking and Local Government Forum took place. It will be remembered, as an important event for the future of cooperation between the local government sector and banks in Poland. Under the motto 'New Challenges, New Strategies: Local Governments and Banks for Joint Development', forum focused on the most relevant subjects including dynamic changes in both sectors, within the presentation of the SMART ŻYWIEC - (r)evolution project.
In our presentation, we shared our local ambitions of the Żywiec City, which perfectly fulfill global challenges. We talked about what the SMART ŻYWIEC - (r)evolution project is, and discussed all investments made, results which are already achieved in the areas of: social participation, partnership, accessibility or institutional development within the project realization.
The Banking and Self-Government Forum 2023, was enriched with a presentation and discussion around the SMART ŻYWIEC project, became a platform for the exchange of knowledge, experiences and innovative ideas. The event emphasized that constructive dialogue and a joint search for innovative solutions can open new paths for the development of local communities and global economy
