Dear all,
we are happy to inform you about the latest project which our partner, Silesian Provincial Group of International Police Association, implemented within the framework of the "SMART ŻYWIEC - (r) evolution" project.
From 27 till 29 of March, 2023, we organized workshops for students from V-VI grade of elementary school about the safety of pedestrians and cyclists on the road.
The program of classes was very extensive and included many interesting issues. Participants learned about the basic dangers for cyclists on the road and the consequences of accidents involving them.
Coaches discussed with children about basic bicycle equipment within the practical exercises on the maneuvering area. Pupils had the opportunity to check their skills in traffic town and try ALCO, and DRUGgoggles. Participants also learned about the duties and rights of pedestrians, and their safety in traffic.
Children also made CPR exercises on phantoms and learned about the basics of first aid principles.
