On one of the main streets in our city, on the wall of the fence at Dworcowa 17-th Street, mural is being created. Mural theme is promotion of phisical activity, referring to tourist and nature values of Zywiec City.
The author of the mural is Zywiec artist - Krzysztof Paciorek, who won first prize in contest entitled "Zywiec Murals." City residents will soon receive an invitation for workshops related to the mural theme.
This is just the beginning, there are still 4 more projects selected in the contest which are waiting for implementation. Later this year, few more works will be implemented a.o. :
- on the wall of the “Young” housing estate,
- on the wall of the "Ogrodek" Environmental Club,
- on the Kabaty housing estate
- on the wall of the Zywiec Amphitheater.
We will keep you informed about the start of work and all planned workshops in each of above mentioned locations.
We would like to remind you that “Zywiec Murals” contest was carried out within the framework of the project "SMART ŻYWIEC - (r)evolution", financed from EEA Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 and the state budget funds , within the framework of the Local Development Program.
