RELAX ON THE FORELAND WITH A BEAUTIFUL VIEW ON SOŁA RIVER

Spring is coming and this means that we will be spending more time outside. The changes that have taken place in our city, especially around the Soła river, encourage for walks and picnics in newly created places. One of these is certainly the relax area on the foreland where you will find not only relaxation after a long day, but also facilities to make your time here even more pleasant.
The relaxation area on the headland was created as part of a project of footbridge over the River Soła building . Wooden benches and a bicycle station can be found there. The place is illuminated by new  installed lamps. It is an ideal recreational spot where you can relax and enjoy the view there. The newly landscaped site is sure to be popular in spring and summer time. It will attract  Żywiec citizens: youth, adults, seniors and tourists.
Preparation of the recreation point on the foreland is part a of the SMART ŻYWIEC-(r)evolution project. Its main goal is to improve recreational conditions in the city, which was directly linked to the new development of the area here as well. The main aim of the project was the construction of a footbridge over the Soła River, where additional care was also taken to revitalize its surroundings. The entire investment cost PLN 9.4 million and was carried out under the 'Local Development' program.
