CHANGING HABITS THROUGH FUN AND INTEGRATION

Everything that has been happening in Zywiec in recent months has been a will to instil a change of habits in the citizens, but also in the tourists who come to spend their free time here. There has been a lot going on within the SMART ŻYWIEC-(r)evolution project, with all the activities bringing people together and encouraging changes. The active ones, of course!
What exactly happened as part of campaign about changing the habits of Żywiec citizens? First and foremost, two great picnics which encouraged these changes. These took place on the sports field in the Habsburg Park. Sports competition for pupils from Żywiec all schools was organized there. It was not only a motivation to win, but above all great fun. Eight activity zones for all the school teams proved to be a hit. It was even possible to learn how to walk on stilts or ride unicycles and walk a tightrope. They were very keen to take part in all the activities, which further fueled their integration with their peers. When the event came to an end, all participants cleaned up the pitch in solidarity. There was also a prize draw! On the second day, there was a picnic with football activities for adults. As we know, fun can also bring generations together. Football emotions, great fun and a lot of laughs meant, that even the inclement weather was not a threat to anyone. There were plenty of prizes and a joint photo at the end of the event was made. Mr Dariusz Mrowiec, the event organizer, took care of the good music during whole event.
