The website is partially compliant with the Digital Accessibility Act of Public Entity's Websites and Mobile Applications due to incompatibilities or exemptions listed below.

Unavailable content

  • There may be situations where, despite the efforts of the website editors, some documents published on the website are unavailable because - they come from various sources;
    • are very extensive and have been created in several organizational cells, which made it impossible to influence their target content and shape
    • were published on the basis of rules adopted in another institution.
  • Some graphic materials (photos) do not have fully accurate descriptions.
  • Some text materials do not have the correct header hierarchy.

Architectural accessibility

Accessibility of the entrance to building A - 2 entrances are available for customers:

- from the market square, after entering the stairs with a ramp for wheelchairs,

- from Pod Górą Street - entrance through the gate to the patio between buildings A and B of the office, then the entrance to the glass beam and to the right; Collision-free entrance for wheelchairs, on one level.

Accessibility of the entrance to building B - 2 entrances are available for customers:

- through building A, from the market square, after entering the stairs with a ramp for wheelchairs, then a glass crossing to building B,

- from Pod Górą Street - entrance through the gate to the patio between buildings A and B of the office, then the entrance to the glass beam and to the right; Collision-free entrance for wheelchairs, on one level.

The office has no automatic door opening in any of its entrances.

Accessibility of corridors, stairs and lifts. All corridors and rooms on each floor are available for wheelchair users. In buildings A and B there are lifts adapted to the needs of disabled people. A disabled toilet is only available in building B on the ground floor.

On the entrance door to building A (on the ground floor), there is an intercom, which is operated by an employee of the registry office. There is also a Braille plaque informing about an intercom installed on the front door. The office does not employ security staff, entrances are monitored.

There are no devices or other technical means to support the hearing impaired in the building. Accessibility is ensured by the support of an information desk employee (logbook) located in building A on the ground floor.

Information on the place and manner of using the parking spaces designated for disabled people. There are no parking spaces for disabled people in front of building A - the entrance is from the market square where car traffic is completely restricted.

2 parking spaces for people in wheelchairs are located at Pod Górą Street - 20 meters from the entrance through the patio gate between buildings A and B of the office, then the entrance to the glass tie and right to building A or left to building B; Collision-free entrance for trolleys, on one level.

Information on the right to enter with an assistance dog and any justified restrictions. You can enter building A and B and all its rooms with an assistance dog and a guide dog.

Information on the use of a sign language interpreter on site or online. It is not possible to use the services of a Polish sign language interpreter in building A and B.

The Municipal Office in Żywiec will strive to ensure accessibility through the use of devices and other technical means to support the hearing and visually impaired in buildings A and B.

 

Registry Office in Żywiec, ul. Zamkowa 2, 34-300 Żywiec

Accessibility to the building - the seat of the Civil Registry Office is located in the building of the City Museum in Żywiec - Old Castle. Entrance through the Park from ul. Zamkowa. The entrance doors to the Castle are equipped with ramps. On the information board in front of the Castle there is a telephone number to the Registry Office for the purpose of contacting the employee. The front door does not open automatically.

Accessibility of corridors, stairs and lifts. A disabled person may only move in the courtyard of the Castle. The barrier is the concrete stairs leading to the offices and the Wedding Hall. On the metal gate, which is located in the courtyard, there is an information board with a telephone number provided to contact an employee of the Registry Office.

Information on the place and manner of using the parking spaces designated for disabled people. Entry to the Castle premises by a passenger car takes place after prior consent of the Mayor of Żywiec in order to settle individual matters. There are no designated parking spaces for disabled people on the premises of the Castle.

Information on the right to enter with an assistance dog and any justified restrictions. You can enter building A and B and all its rooms with an assistance dog and a guide dog.

Information on the use of a sign language interpreter on site or online. It is not possible to use the services of a Polish sign language interpreter in building A and B.

Municipal Police in Żywiec, ul. Zielona 7, 34-300 Żywiec

Accessibility to the entrance to the building - the seat of the Municipal Police is located in the building at ul. Zielona 7. Entrance from ul. Green. There is a bell button on the front door to call the City Guard on duty. The front door does not open automatically.

Accessibility of corridors, stairs and lifts. The barrier is the concrete stairs leading to the duty room and offices. The facility does not have a lift for disabled people.

Information on the place and method of using parking spaces designated for disabled people. There are no designated disabled parking spaces. Public parking spaces are available in front of the building.

Information on the right to enter with an assistance dog and any justified restrictions. You can enter building A and B and all its rooms with an assistance dog and a guide dog.

Office of the Mayor's Plenipotentiary for the Prevention and Resolution of Addiction Problems, ul. Powstańców Śląskich 27, 34-300 Żywiec

Accessibility to the entrance to the building - the seat is located in the building at ul. Powstańców Śląskich 27 on the ground floor level without any architectural barriers. The front door does not open automatically.

Accessibility of corridors, stairs and lifts. No architectural barriers. Office rooms are located on the patio.

Information on the place and manner of using the parking spaces designated for disabled people. There are no designated disabled parking spaces. There is a public parking space directly in front of the building.

Information on the right to enter with an assistance dog and any justified restrictions. You can enter building A and B and all its rooms with an assistance dog and a guide dog.

Information on the use of a sign language interpreter on site or online. It is not possible to use the services of a Polish sign language interpreter in building A and B.
